He has done it, Caine Eckstein has broken the pull up World Record, shattering both the 12 and 24 hour record with 4,210 reps.

Eckstein, a five-time Coolangatta Gold Champion and Iron Man, travelled to New York where he shattered the record live on the Today Show in Times Square.

Equipped with Natural Grips and Goat Tape to protect his hands, Eckstein set not only one, but two Guinness World Records. His 4,210 reps surpassed the previous 24 hour record of 4,182 and 12 hour record of 4,020.

It was no easy task for Caine, who has been training rigorously on the Alpha Fit Rig on the Gold Coast after setting his sights on the record a few years ago.

Through this amazing feat of endurance, Eckstein has raised awareness for Corpus Callosum disorders.
