If you watched the Weightlifting World Championships this year, you were witness to the best lifters on the planet leaving it all on the platform. There is no competition like this. Pros from every corner of the globe traveled to the Anaheim Convention Center in California; and from November 28 through December 6, the finest male and female athletes competed in their respective weight classes for a spot on the podium — and maybe in the record books. Steve Galvan is the IWF’s official photographer, and he caught all the action through the lens of his camera. We went through his Instagram page and picked out some of our favorites.
