The human body can be pushed to incredible limits. We once saw Lee Davis do Murph 16 times in 24 hours. Jamie Milne and Russell Stringer set a new world record when they did Murph 20.16 times in 24 hours.

Then we had Mitchell Adams, who crushed his goal of doing 10,000 burpees in 24 hours.

Most recently, Nick Anapolsky — owner of Polsky’s Strength and Conditioning (CrossFit PSC) — aimed to set a new world record of his own: to do the most chest-to-ground burpees in one hour.

In related news, none of us can ever complain about doing burpees in a workout, ever again.

So, did he do it?

At the time, the Guinness World Record was 870. Anapolsky proved successful after executing 879 burpees in one hour. The gym captured some of the highlights and shared them on IG — check it out! (Side note: We were beyond proud to see him repping TWL.)

Many congrats on the new world record!
