We’ve talked a lot about how to take care of our bodies during the coronavirus isolation. You know how you can train at home even with no equipment. But we need to talk about something just as important: caring for your mental health. Fitness is equal parts mind and body. Here’s how the pros are doing it.

Woke up this morning a little more stressed than normal. No real reason or anything different that has happened in past couple days. These times truly are just crazy, but we are ALL going through this together ✨🤍🕊 Just hoping that everyone is taking this seriously, keeping themselves safe & minimizing contact with people outside their household. It’s only temporary, we WILL get through this & these times will pass. – This is what I did this morning as soon as I woke up to get myself to relax: 1. Drink a big glass of water with lemon + take my @_dropi fish oil & D-vitamin. 2. Found a yoga flow on youtube & did 20 minutes of yoga (if you have favorite videos or instructors please send me recommendations – I like focusing on the breath & a traditional flow 😍) 3. Did a daily @gowod_mobilityfirst to stretch a lil more & open up my hips. 4. Made myself a cup of oatmilk latte, bundled up on the couch & am doing some READING 😌 (Current read: Atomic habits) – Then later plan on doing a 30-40 min easy SWEAT & I know that always makes me feel a lot better ✨ What are you guys doing to stay calm?! xxx

“Turn off the TV. Stretch. Read a book. Go for a walk. Take a bath. Pet a dog. Bake a cake. Phone a friend.”

3. Samantha Briggs

“We walk and take in our surroundings, no music or distractions, just listening to the birds sing!”

4. Mat Fraser

“Switching back and forth between episodes of It’s Always Sunny and a book cause, balance.”

5. Annie Thorisdottir

“Even though your daily routine looks very different today than only a few weeks ago, focusing on the things that are good in your life and the opportunities this change has brought instead of the negatives, will not only help YOU through this, but also inspire others to do the same. ”

Wednesday morning thoughts… ⁣ ⁣ 1. Isolation is a little better with this guy @frederikaegidius. ❤️ tell someone you appreciate them in your life today!⁣ ⁣ 2. Even though your daily routine looks very different today than only a few weeks ago, focusing on the things that are good in your life and the opportunities this change has brought instead of the negatives, will not only help YOU through this, but also inspire others to do the same. ⁣ ⁣ 3. We are isolating for each other – but remember to also do things for YOU. The world will be a better place once we come out of this if you take care of YOU in the meantime as well. We need EVERYONE at their best to bring our world back up. 👊⁣ ⁣ #enjoylife #easteriscoming #love #happy
