The movement standards are there for a reason, but they don’t totally level the playing field. Just ask Jacob Heppner. When 18.4 rolled around, he realized he was in trouble. The movement standard made it difficult to successfully complete the handstand push-ups – not because he can’t, but because his anatomy makes it difficult to hit that line.
With 20.3 being a repeat of 18.4, Heppner found a workaround: doing the HSPUs on his knuckles.

He also took to YouTube to explain why he thinks this method is acceptable, but ultimately, if HQ penalizes him for it, we can expect to see him at Sanctionals.
