Anyone who broke 200 reps for 19.1 had a reason a celebrate. Then Lazar Dukic casually got 411 reps, and we all pretty much lost our minds.
Of particular note are Dukic’s quick transitions. He wastes no time hopping between the wall balls and rowing. While many of us treated this as our rest time, Dukic’s mentality was apparently, “Ok, time to move faster!”
The leaderboard currently shows him in first, tied with Norway’s Snorre Fjaagesund. Not far behind is the UK’s Alex Wertheim, with 409 reps.
Many athletes criticized 19.1 for being boring, especially as the first workout of the Open, but you can’t deny it was a true test of speed, endurance, strategy, and pacing. And regardless of how exciting it may or may not have been, that was one spicy workout.
What do you think 19.2 will bring us?
