Mitchell Adams Will Attempt 10,000 Burpees in 24 Hours

Mitchell Adams, five-time CrossFit Games Regionals athlete, has a goal to give back. He wants to give back to all of the people giving everything they’ve got to help those suffering from coronavirus. So, he’s challenging himself to 10,000 burpees in 24 hours, with the goal of raising £10,000 to donate to the NHS Charities.

By the way, if you were to break that down by the hour, that’s 417 burpees for 24 hours straight — or seven burpees a minute, nonstop.

It’s all going down Sunday, May 3.

He’s keeping fans in the loop with Instagram videos detailing his approach, from movement standards to efficiency. Adams has no plans to shortcut his burpees and will be adhering to the proper movement standards. Incredible.

This video is the first installment of a series of videos i will release between now and the day of the event. . . This first video is all about the movement standard that must be achieved for each burpee to count. . . ?Chest and hips to the ground. ?Jump both feet in together. ? Jump off the floor with both feet leaving the ground at the same time. ?Hips and knees must both meet full extension whilst in the air during the jump. ? Both hands must finish above the head at the top of each rep. . . I want to achieve this challenge with integrity so it is important to me to adhere to a consistent standard for all 10,000 reps. . . Please follow the link in my bio to donate to help support our wonderful NHS.
