With current events, we’re all having to adapt — and the same goes for CrossFit. They recently announced on Twitter that the soonest the Games will happen is August 17. For reference, it was supposed to happen July 29.
Due to travel restrictions and circumstances beyond control, the dates for the 2020 Reebok CrossFit Games will be adjusted.
The soonest potential start date is Aug. 17.
More information will be released next week.

The Games are getting quite the makeover this season. Considering coronavirus, they had already announced that the event was going back to the Ranch in Aromas, California, which is where it all started. Furthermore, teams, age groups, and national champions were eliminated, reducing the group of competing athletes to just 60.
What’s more, they decided it wouldn’t be a public event.
All smart steps to take in our continued fight against the pandemic.
It looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer to see some of the fittest compete.
